Sutherland Shire: ANZAC Day & 2-Up Highlights

Cronulla

• Dawn Service: 5:35 AM at Cronulla Park

• 2-Up: Cronulla RSL from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  Cronulla RSL opens early at 4:00 AM, so you can get there early to grab a spot and prepare for the Dawn Service at Cronulla Park at 5:35 AM. After the service, head back to Cronulla RSL where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast starting at 6:00 AM. Then, join the fun of 2-Up from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The RSL is a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering a fantastic beachside atmosphere for the game and plenty of chances to win.

• Dawn Service: 4:20 AM at Caringbah War Memorial

• 2-Up: Tradies Caringbah at 12:00 PM

• 2-Up: Sutherland RSL at 12:00 PM

  The Sutherland War Memorial is the place to be for a heartfelt Dawn Service, followed by a lively afternoon of 2-Up at Sutherland RSL. It’s a great way to continue the ANZAC spirit.

Taren Point

• Celebrate ANZAC Day: 2-Up starts at 11:00 AM

  If you're after a day filled with fun, Taren Point Hotel has got you covered! Join the action with 2-Up starting at 11:00 AM, followed by live entertainment from 2:00 PM. Enjoy some ice-cold beers, cocktails, and tasty bites from the bistro that’s open all day long.

Menai

• Dawn Service: 5:30 AM at Memorial Wall Parc Menai

• 2-Up: Club Central Menai at 12:00 PM

  After the Dawn Service, head to Club Central Menai for a fun and lively 2-Up experience. The atmosphere is always electric, with a great crowd enjoying the game and making the most of the day.

  
  

Sydney: ANZAC Day & 2-Up Fun

Sydney Cenotaph (Martin Place)

• Dawn Service: 4:30 AM

• ANZAC Day March: 9:00 AM

  On April 25, 2025, Sydney will host its main ANZAC Day events at Martin Place. The Dawn Service begins at 4:30 AM, followed by the ANZAC Day March at 9:00 AM along Elizabeth Street, with thousands of participants. The commemorative service at Hyde Park will follow the march. Sydney Harbour Bridge: ANZAC Dawn BridgeClimb

  A unique way to start your ANZAC Day! The ANZAC Dawn BridgeClimb offers participants the chance to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge during sunrise while taking part in the Dawn Service. It’s an unforgettable experience with panoramic views of the city and a meaningful tribute to our fallen soldiers.

Sydney Opera House & Harbour Bridge Light-Up

• Light-Up: Evening on April 24, 2025

  On April 24, the Harbour Sunset Tribute will be held at the Sydney Opera House, where the iconic building will be illuminated in ANZAC Day colours. The Harbour Bridge will also shine with special lighting, creating a stunning visual tribute to those who served.
