I’m incredibly proud and humbled to share that SLAM Society has been named a finalist in the Local Business Awards!

This recognition is deeply meaningful because SLAM Society didn’t start as a business - it began from a personal need for connection.

When I moved to the Shire with a newborn and no family or friends nearby, I quickly felt isolated. But I wasn’t alone. Many women in the community were craving the same sense of belonging, not knowing where to find it.

What began as casual catch-ups with other mums at the playground soon blossomed into something much larger - an empowering community where women feel seen, understood, and supported. These connections have not only impacted individual lives but have also helped strengthen families and enriched our entire community.

SLAM Society is more than just a social group. It’s a space where women feel stronger, more confident, and less alone. The connections we’ve built together have created a supportive environment where kindness and empowerment lead the way.

Being named a finalist in the Local Business Awards is a beautiful reminder that this vision is making a difference. It’s a reflection of the incredible women, families, and supporters who have made this community what it is today.

While this recognition is a huge milestone, it’s just the beginning. I’m excited for what’s next, and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey.

Thank you for being a part of SLAM Society. Together, we are building something truly special.

With love,

Toni
